NEW Rainbow High dolls! Series 4: Jewel Richie & Coco Vanderbalt [Review & Restyle]

In this video, I'm taking a look at the BRAND NEW series 4 Rainbow High dolls! I cannot believe they already came out in the Netherlands, and I'm so excited to share this video with you. Normally, it takes a couple of months for new dolls to arrive here, so I am so thrilled to already own these beautiful new dolls!
Jewel Richie is the green doll from Series 4 and she's the very first Rainbow High dolls to represent vitiligo. Her skin has marks all over her body, giving her a really unique and realistic look. I really like how they incorporated this into her make-up, with her one blond eyebrow and a heartshape above the other eyebrow.
Jewel comes wearing an amazing sequins dress and fur shawl, that is fully removable!
Coco Vanderbalt is a the blue themed doll in the new Series and she has an amazingly sporty vibe that looks super modern and realistic. With her sunglasses, corset top, chunky heels and leather bomber jacket, I'm absolutely loving her style wayyy more than I expected! Coco also has some really long hair and has a full partline rooted.
Both dolls rock molded and painted babyhairs, that both have a different design.

@@TheDollBoy my parents weren't happy with me playing dolls , lol, my older sister or my cousins played dolls with me knowing it was "wrong", i love how girls realize this and they still wanna invite us since they're young, like they KNOW we're also girls!!!!! Lol, oh man, those times were great, at the end everyone knew I was playing Barbies but all the adults had to ignore it, I guess when they see a feminine little boy they instinctively also wanna let them be happy, so even if they're not gonna buy them Barbies, they will allow them to play, acting like they didn't see anything!!!! I still had to hide but I think they knew, one time we went to the beach with my cousin and we took all the Barbies on a pink suitcase, it was the best !!!!!!!

Ahhh they're so pretty!! The more I see of Jewels and Coco the more I like them!! When the promo pics came out I thought miss Deliah Fields was the only doll i liked , and Lila too bc I like Japanese fashion but now!! I like the others too though Lila and Mila are like at the bottom of the list for me lol Lila bc her fashion is just Bad and Mila just doesn't excited me at all

The pink on her vitiligo is intentional. The pink in the blusing of the body. Since there is very little pigment in the area, the pink blusing is a result of the color of the blood vessels under the skin being reflected through the skin itself. All the dolls of her i've seen have the same pink blusing so its not just yours.

My list has changed twice now. I really thought Lila might be higher up on my list and so was Meena but I’ve really been let down with the reviews. Mila has really caught my eye. Coco is absolutely stunning, I’m going to do this exact hairstyle on her. Thank you so much! Also your reviews are amazing. So far you’re the first to do a very thorough review.

Jewel's SO pretty. I love her eyes and the way the vivid green color looks with her skin tone. I guess the pink on her skin will be a common issue because someone else's doll had it too. I wish Natasha's hair had been more like Jewel's instead of those messy waves. Coco is growing on me. She did not look great in her promo photos, but better in person. I love her restyled hair!

The pinkish pigment is a part of how vitiligo effects the skin in some areas, just a bit of info to share, bcause my mother in law has this.

Vitiligo runs in my family. It does leaves your skin pinkish and white in appearance where the pigment is gone.

omg Coco's hair out of the box is a disaster! Why do they do keep doing this it doesn't even look great in the box. 😭 These are still kid's toys and kids like to brush doll hair but they keep adding so much gel not even kids will enjoy brushing through that mess. And I bet you parents aren't going to take their time to wash their hair.

I'm going to rename her Esmeralda which is Spanish for Emerald and is both my parents' birthstone to honor them as my mom passed away from breast cancer when I was 10 and my Dad will pass too but notbsure when- he has dementia, alzheimer's and cerebral vascular disease and he is in a nursing home where there is high suspicion of elder abuse.

Mila is my favorite and I am excited for them to come out in other areas. Lila is my second favorite. Jewel has some great jewelry though and I love the choker and emerald earings. Coco is mixed for me, as I like her hair color but not her sporty style.

Ohh! What I did is I first created the ponytails, then took a small strand from the back and wrapped it around it and put another rubber band just below that, wrapping it around both the original ponytail and the end of the wrapped around strand. Then you can pull it tight and it'll hide everything! I'll make sure to include it into a look book once I get around to making one for these dolls
