Browns training camp rolls on today with the most intense day of practice we've seen, with lots of team drills. While Deshaun Watson and the offense looked good on the field, the big storylines came from Jimmy and Dee Haslam's press conference, where they talked about the status of a new stadium, the next steps, and much more.

Brook Park is the way to go. They’re still the Cleveland Browns it’s better for the fans develops an area it’s a win win. Indoor games in the playoffs which will probably benefit the team from an injury standpoint. Develop the old stadium into something that can be a tourist attraction and open it for businesses

I'm a Browns fan in Pittsburgh (Hell) here. Dome stadium in Brookpark would be a hit. You guys have the best freeway access in the midwest. East side peeps could just swing down 271 to 480 or go 90 to 71. Wouldn't be that bad. West side and south are covered with 480, 71 and 77. Gameday traffic in this hell hole is brutal with Squirrel Hill tunnel (2 lanes) and Ft Pitt tunnel also just 2 lanes from the south.

The new stadium has its appeal and sitting comfortably in an enclosed climate-controlled stadium wouldn't be bad during the football season, however I am a traditionalist, and I think the Browns belong on the lakefront with an open-air stadium, playing on natural grass. I do understand just like with everything else in today's world that money will be the ultimate driving force and there's zero doubt that a brand new, state-of-the-art facility will bring in millions upon millions of dollars in revenue just by the additional events an enclosed venue can host (concerts, ncaa tourn games, etc). I just personally enjoy the traditional of the blue-collar Cleveland team and fans gathering on the lakefront and muni lot on a cold December afternoon to watch our Browns. All good things come to an end at some point though. In the end, I don't think there's any question that a new stadium will be built in the suburbs. It is the trend accross the NFL amymore.

Continued "lobbying" for the Brookpark domed option by the Haslams. Renovate the existing stadium! Can all problems be fixed there? No, but since when is the "imperfect" the enemy of the "good"? The stadium belongs on the lake front! Football is meant to be on grass with occasional weather elements. Keep the tradition! Funny how when the public is paying for the stadium, nothing is too good for these owners.

If The Haslems want to build it in Brook Park let them pay for more than 1/3 of the cost . Municipal Stadium held 80,000 fans in Football season and I'm sure The Haslems are looking for a Stadium that holds more than 64,000 on GameDay.

The Haslam's first choice for a new stadium was to put it at East 18th and Lakeside, directly south of the Muni lot. That is a wasteland part of downtown that could have been redeveloped around a new stadium. Tailgating is right there in the Muni lot. It made so much sense that Bibb said no, so screw him and the city. Bunch of corrupt trash.

Downtown’s economy will suffer if they move to God awful Brookpark ~ warm fans in a dome does not outweigh keeping local businesses alive in your downtown area, whether it be keeping hotels full on game weekends, or restaurants, casino, clubs, hall of fame, etc. Creating a plastic-y Browns theme park/village where Haslam and the NFL reap all the profits runs counter to Cleveland’s prosperity….and we’ll see more empty downtown vacancies and a tumbleweeds blowing thru the main streets on Sundays. Think of your city first, then your historically shitty NFL team
