My worry for Chicago is they totally mishandle this coaching search and instead of going all in on a top 3 they allow the best candidates to leave the building and get hired by another team and they are left with scrubs.

There are only 6 head coach openings in the NFL right now. Of those 6 openings, the Bears job may be the most sought after (can argue the Patriots as well). The Jets, Saints, and Raiders feel like terrible positions to be put into, meaning they have to convince their top choice to take the position over New England or Jacksonville. They should be able to get one of their top 3 choices regardless. However, anything besides Ben Johnson feels like it would be at least a little bit of a let down.
