You say on paper the raiders need a lot of work. You reference roster needs work, no QB, and tough division. All true I’m not gonna dispute those claims. However, on your other channel you had a different tone about the bears being more intriguing. The only point to me that makes sense if that yall have Caleb Williams but the thing is he’s still unproven. But sure, he’s your guy so you believe in him but bears fans seem to have this belief that the rest of the NFL sees Caleb as the ultimate lure for Ben Johnson when he doesn’t even fit the scheme the same way Goff does. Maybe he wants a more traditional, take what’s given QB. Not the hero ball that Caleb often falls into playing. Not saying he does it’s just something to consider Now aside from Caleb the bears vs the raiders the last 15 years have been almost identical In WL ratio and neither has had a playoff win in a very very long time (22 for the raiders and 14 for the bears) Both are dysfunctional so to pretend the bears are a better landing spot simply because of Caleb Williams is short sighted and neglecting how Ben wants more control. Ryan poles is in Chicago and the raiders have a vacant GM spot, a much more beneficial position for what Ben Johnson wants. Realistically, the raiders have more of a clean slate to offer as well as mark Davis, the root of the dysfunction, seemingly handing the keys to Brady. Now I am obviously a raiders fan but I’m also not here saying Ben Johnson absolutely undeniably should come to us. We’re a mess but so are the bears. I’m willing to hear more analysis as to why the bears are a better landing spot but your reasons laid out in the video align more with bias than rationality.
