At this point I thk its greed. They make anywhere from 81,000 to 200,000 a year. They want a 77 percent increase over 6 yrs. They were offered 50 percent and 3Xs more employer contributions into their retirement and better insurance. Theres plenty of people that would replace them for that pay/benefits. My husband is a steel worker WORKING 50Xs harder than them making 33.00 an hr. On top of that 14 hrs a day and temps range from 0 to 100 degrees. I have no sympathy for them we that offer they were given!

These people don't understand that if someone raises their pay, then everyone elses pay has to increase by some margin -- but you know what happens after that? Everything else goes up too (rent, groceries, gas, taxes, bills, etc). So we're right back at where we started.
