I watched your other video of the FBI truck and you commented back telling me about this video on your channel so I watched it and I feel so bad and awful for what happened to those 2 FBI Agents. They are resting in paradise right now. One more thing why does FHP never respond to such a major incident. As much as I like the FHP it makes me go mad knowing that they could respond and help out but they don't. They did the exact same thing when the Orlando Nightclub Shooting happened. FHP never responded as if they were busy and they had more important things to do. ( Sry for loosing my temper).

From what I know, FHP only responds to calls on the highway for the most part, but I do agree with you, they should respond to high priority calls like this.

From experience on scenes like this,,,,, this is massive overkill. Most of the officers will be standing around. I understand everyone wants to get there. Wants to help. But in all reality, this is probably quadruple what they need to manage the scene. At some point it becomes unmanageable and they’ll start clearing most starting with the locals not on traffic detail since the feds will be running this. Horrible thing to happen tho

That is because protocols mandate this kind of turnout. Specially federal agents down. It is a large scene and it is impossible to not relieve the perimeter officers during the investigation, on top of officers gathering witnesses to the event, securing the suspect, marking evidence, recording evidence, gathering evidence, along with local and federal agencies working together since this federal case took place inside city/county limits. These turnouts are rare but do happen

There are lots of other things besides dealing with the subject. There are people needed for traffic control, maintaining a perimeter, a command team, an entry team, radio management, scene control, etc. And then you have your negotiator, someone coordinating your air and ground units, and things like that. Plus, 5 FBI agents were shot. When 5 FBI agents get shot, it's pretty safe to assume the suspect is heavily armed. Their job and their main goal is to protect the public from dangerous people, and they will use whatever means necessary (within their protocols and regulations) to do so.
