@@mobninja_ I agree, it has a good number of inaccuracies. I have been an Armed Forces aspirant for quite some time, and I had first read about Op Black Tornado about eight years ago. I was disappointed with the movie, certainly, for its, one could argue, commercially superficial portrayal. But then, looking at the bigger picture, I realised that it really got to the general public. It really sunk in and stayed with the public, in some way. For example, I had been telling my family about Maj Unnikrishnan and other Armed Forces personnel for a long time, and they had listened nonchalantly all the while. After watching this movie, they had really realised and visualised the greatness of the man. And that’s amazing, in my opinion. Yes, it’s not ideal that the masses only read on these great men and women after a movie’s made on them, but at least something motivated them to do so. They probably would never read about them normally. That’s the way I see it.

Cinematic liberty. Our war movies will show top class gears with our soldiers away from actual ground reality. NSG was transported in BEST buses from airport to Taj and in movie they have armoured vehicles 😂. The sniper climbed gateway of India using scaffolding which was luckily there for renovation of gateway and in movie they have shown ropes and what not. Snipers were useless due to small windows of taj
