Just wanted to say I love to watch you fish. A younger guy with an old soul. You fish your ass off everything your out there and alot of times do it just power fishing. No electronics. Im not against electronics but a good fishermen doesn't need them and you show that. I follow the standings alot during the elites and you are one of the few names a follow to see how you are doing. Keep it up. Everything you do in my opinion is great

Just picked up a couple Shimano Curado MGL 150s on Black Friday. I must say for the price those reels are unbeatable. Usually fish the Diawa Tatula SV. But i think the Shimano may be my new favorite.

Definitely love my Curado DC’s. Drag will just back off on em and I gotta stay on top of that. Like my 13 A2 for my braid rods because you can lock down that 25 lb drag and bring em to you. Look forward to watching you wreck em this year!

Sponsorship is gone bc everything is a monopoly now. Almost all companies are owned by a couple major holdings companies. Pradco outdoors has basically bought every company in the hunting and fishing industries. Corruption is now allowed in this country.

I know the loss of a sponsor sucks, but when their equipment is so low quality it may be a blessing. Nothing personal but I have been cheering for them to go under. They sold so much junk over the years and imo shouldn’t be a brand. Shimano for the W!!!

Point blank is nice, not inexpensive blanks but you get what you pay for. Anyone who sponsors themselves uses daiwa and Shimano reels. Really sucked when Shimano bought GLoomis and killed blank sales.

I agree. I have maybe 8 of them Loomis blanks made for for punching and football jigs rods from like 2008. I still have it on the deck and can't beat them.

It seems like a lot of Rod companies here in the last 6 or 7 years coming out with a Baitcaster. Seems like they are all about the same reels and most mediocre imo. In the past it was maybe 6 that everyone used and now everyone has a reel.
