I'd like to think the background of the song each time on minor key has a different POV for background This one would be the story of two life long best friends, and one of them has fallen in love with the other. They've told the other person that they love them, but the other person believes it's a joke and brushes it off. But the best friend in love is absolutely convinced that the other person has feelings for them too, but feels betrayed when the other person starts dating a person they've fallen in love with. The best friend becomes insanely jealous, and slowly it consumes them into becoming psycho. Instead of beginning to stalk their love, they stalk the S/O of their best friend, following their patterns. The S/O works late at night a few towns over, so when driving back their was a sudden car accident when someone stepped in the middle road and the S/O, causing the S/O to die horrifically to avoid hitting the passerby. When the love interest finds out, they become vulnerable and depressed. When the best friend is comforting the grieving 'widow' (in a sense), the griever realizes that the best friend never says they feel bad about him dying, only that they will help them feel better in their times of grief. The psycho realizes they're slipping up as they fake cry, accusing their love interest of not trusting them. He says "I've loved you for so long, and we've been together for so long. How do you not trust me?" The love interest feels guilty, saying they'd never doubt their best friend, uttering out an "I love you, too,. and I'd never doubt you." They embrace in a hug, but the love interest never notices the slyest of grins forming on the face of the murderer.
