2 things first, I think Rock handed Cody 7 bucks symbolic and what not, and second Cody and Rock really does have the potential to be the Austin V McMahon rivalry for this era if Rock can spare the time to make it work

No, The Rock just needs to stay behind the scenes. They only used him because of Roman's storyline with Cody. Cody has won the title and it's time for The Rock to move on. With his commitments to make movies. He's not going to keep having time to do all these storylines. He's different from Vince. Vince pretty much was WWE. The Rock only joined the board of TKO for money and power. All because of his film career isn't getting as much steam as it used to. But he'll mostly likely use his position to boost his films/products through WWE. I love The Rock and all. But I'd rather not keep seeing him on TV in WWE unless it's necessary. He just needs a final match, where he wins and then retires for good. And his HOF induction comes after that.

After seeing the Bray documentary, Bo Dallas got the creative buddies and the resources. Bray & Bo were thick as thieves. I was surprised how many people in (& outside of) WWE want to help "finish this story" for Bray's sake, and then pivot to new stuff.

cody vs rock at summerslam for the title, roman doesnt show up from now to summerslam but shows up at summerslam to cost rock the match saying he dislikes cody but has rock business to deal with, also saying he can only properly be the head of the table once he's beat the final boss. eventually we get to the royal rumble where rock defeats seth rollins for the world heavyweight title and roman wins the rumble. roman beats rock at mania for the world heavyweight title but doesnt have a ridiculously long reign and loses it at the latest at summerslam, to either solo, bron breakker, jey uso, jimmy uso or a now face drew mcintyre.

I mean there are 4 big names that could join WWE in the near future. Motor City have finished up with TNA and while its likely they will join AEW, the thought of having them face the Usos at any PPV is just too good. Then of course we have Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. I'm hoping one of them shows up on Smackdown, though I wouldn't be surprised if one shows up at the next NXT event while the other waits for the draft.
