Majorca airport to your hotel: Taxi, bus, shuttle or rental car?

Since a few months, there is a new public bus service ( www.tib.org/en/web/ctm/autobus/aerotib )that goes to many resorts but does not stop at the hotels but at random bus stops. It is an improvement on the previous public transportation but still, the shuttle bus offers a better service for the price.

This has changed now there are direct bus to Alcudia, Can Picafort direct from Airport example the bus : A32 very cheap :) cheers and thanks

I'm going to calls millor and I think we r going on a coach that stops of at each resort... Also every time we arrive to do the transport to ur resort it's always the part that goes wrong

Or walk to FAN Mallorca or Can pastilla if you want to use cheaper transport because the airport is a rip-off, I'm going to be doing this from the airport once I arrive XD

Also it's a day trip so I arrive early morning and I return later in the day, once I leave I can immediately swim after the 30 minute walk to can pastilla XD

I would say just book a 5 euro bus, not sure if that walk works or is safe.

Dont really understand your question. Do you have a packaged holiday? Then don't worry your guide will help you... they will tell you what buss to get on. But much depends on the company you booked with.

Ah, dont worry then. I heard and know nothing but good things about Jet2. When you arrive you will be taken care of by the holiday rep normally waiting for you in the airport. But like I said, much depends on your package you booked.

Is there any way to get out of the deposit for renting a car? Technically if I buy the best insurance then the whole car is covered and no deposit needed. Am I right? I've checked your website and the link you've got there but like goldcar and all the companies talk about the deposit but it's worthless if you have got the best insurance

If you have a great 3rd party insurance, they still want the deposit, as they can not check each insurance one by one to see what the coverage is. Only if you take the full insurance with the rental company, no deposit (or just a small one) is needed. They don't want to have to fight your insurance to get the money in case something happens to get the money. They just want to take it from your deposit and let you fight with your insurance company to get the money. This is the same for every car rental company. I am not a fan of Goldcar, definitely not

HI Ive, we want to book the airport shuttle bus for our stay at a hotel in Calla Millor. Our flight arrives at 1425pm which is fine but our return flight leaves at 0725am meaning we will have to leave our hotel by around 0445am.
