Undivided and unaligned daemons are so interesting and it's ludicrous that they're so barely touched upon in the setting.

My guess is that they introduced absolutly mental stuff in the Horus Heresy, but they won't bring it back because it could destroy the setting... x/ Plus, 40k isn't restricted to Big E. and the Primarchs. Aside for humanity, they aren't that pivotal in the setting.

It's hilarious to me how often powerful forces in sci-fi will build a "wall" around a star system. Like a literal wall. A ring. And then the faction who wants to get around this wall never thinks to approach the star system from the north or south poles lmao.

A lot of Sci FI is mostly trying to mirror naval engagements, which are largely 2D. My preferred theory is that when you have giant walls like that, they also have the ability to rotate in the system, and thus can realign themselves to face an attack from any direction relatively quickly. Esspecially if it's a warp wall which can just appear anywhere whenever it wants.

The thing with a lot of these OP characters or weapons or races is that they tend to appear only once. Usually in the work of 1 author. Star Trek had this a lot, where tech and weapons that were OP and quite useful to have in individual episodes never appeared again, even when they could have been of immense use, like during the Dominion War. So unless something appears again in the work of another author, or in a codex, I'll treat these like just one step above fan fiction.

What if video idea: I think I remember reading somewhere that the emperor didn’t originally intend to make space marines, he wanted to make the primarchs and have them lead mortal armies. What if he didn’t make the space marines but still found the primarchs in roughly the same timeframe?

I imagine the destruction of daven, and thus the demon ship, and creation of the sanguinarch, was enough to shatter the demon, so even if Chaos wanted to power him up, it simply doesn't have the capacity to hold that power anymore, like bottle that had its bottom broken off. You can tell it used to be a bottle, and the base can still hold liquid, but only a fraction of what it used to be able to hold.

Legit question, how does Sanguinius fall to the Black Rage if the Black Rage was triggered at the point Horus killed Sanguinius and causes visions of Sanguinius death and rage against Horus throughout the Blood Angels? Didn't they only have the Red Thirst at this point?

Tbf, it doesn't sound like he himself was that powerful, just that he had the backing of the chaos gods and had a surprising amount of demonic ingenuity in comparison to others. Where some demons just grab the minimal amount of power and equipment they need to muster and go gung ho on the materium, this guy went extra and beyond.
