Booyah! Back with the Slack so you won't get whacked! Um, grinding up bodies, yeah, that's not creepy at all *slowly turns around and runs out* Glad to hear your crashing problems have stopped boss. Thumbs UP! :)

Those roars in the background in the wilderness (7:45) reminds me of when a dragon is nearby in Skyrim. And with Major Slack doing this walkthrough too, I was like: "Hey, he didn't activate the dragons yet... Oh, this isn't Skyrim."

If it is any consolation Slack, the recording handicap happens to other walkthroughers too (well at least 1 other that i'm following), you're not the only one dealing with it. Great run Slack, i love your approach to the game, if i was doing it on my own, it would take me weeks to figure out all of the tactics and different choices to make in a game like this. :)

Sir, you can try to go melee build on your PS4. Whackin' enemy to head with a stick usually doesn't requires that much of a skill :D It took me about 50 hours of gameplay (at least half of it in Borderlands 2) until I got used to a controller. Now I prefer gaming with controller. I got enough keyboard and mouse at work. I read the tweets about the Borderlands 3/Take Two problem and I hope it will get settled soon. They should attend this problem and they should realize that plenty of your viewers buy the games you made a walkthrough for.

Melee build? You mean, going toe-to-toe with the enemy, no stealth? Surely you jest. Mr. Fumblefingers wouldn't last 10 seconds doing that. 8D At any rate, I'm actually making a go of it on my PS4 using the exact same strategies I present in this walkthrough. I actually made it to the ship on Supernova mode. So now I've decided that Mr. Fumblefingers will be the smell test on exactly how well gamers of all skill levels can use the strategies in this walkthrough. If Mr. Fumblefingers can do it, anyone can do it! :)

@@MajorSlackVideos Mr. Fumblefingers as a test :D. I like the idea. I would love to see a walkthrough with Mr. Fumblefingers behind the wheel and Mr. Mumblemouth behind the mic :D

Loving every guide you do! I was watching your divinity 2 guide but it died off. Any thoughts of going back to it or is it dead?

My new fav game... Bought it couple days ago, on the black friday sale, after watching your walkthrough. Sadly a I have to divide my gaming time between this, SAO fatal bullet, Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor (which i also bought a few days back, cuz' why not) and my long time love & guilty pleasure Grim Dawn. Btw, I've just realized, during random scroilling in my steam & epic & gog game libraries that I have waaaayyy too many games...(61 on steam, 2 on epic, 13 on gog, 2 on battle.net) which I bought and never played or played very little... yeah, certain signs of an addiction

My backlog is quite hefty at the moment but, between buying new games and going back to old games, I'm never really any closer to cutting it down. I figure though that, as long as you're playing a game that you enjoy, that's all that really matters, be it a new game, an old game that you've played before or a game from your backlog. Personally, I've been having a strong desire to revisit Dishonored recently.

I am still hoping Grim Dawn will make it to consoles and when it does I am going to buy it day one. And add it to my still growing backlog of games I want to play and will probably never have enough time to do so... :D

Why do you sell weapons and armor instead of scrapping them?

Why do you scrap weapons and armor instead of selling them? 8D
@gekko8555 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing it's because you will need a lot of money down the road to tinker a weapon that you have been tinkering for a while and still want to use. Also weapon and armor parts aren't hard to come by. At the end of my first playthrough I had hundreds of parts and I scrapped about half of the gear and sold the other half.

Looks like you modded the .ini files, no?
@MajorSlackVideos5 жыл бұрын
No, I didn't. Why?
@darkmatter26325 жыл бұрын
Video quality looks good, so I assumed you modded. Modding turns off motion blur, depth of field, forces edge sharpening, etc. Makes the frame rate snappier
@MajorSlackVideos5 жыл бұрын
Outer Worlds in-game settings lets you turn off Motion Blur (which I always do) and set the FOV which I have set to 90. I forget if there's a depth of field setting or not..

Basic UE4 .ini tweaks, mainly disabling unwanted gfx effects and mouse smoothing, settings which can not be disabled individually ingame.
