I just did this. I got a suggestions for anyone going for this or any another perfect relic. (I will discuss reasons why after all this) 1- don't restart the level after you die 2-don't care how many times you die, only concern yourself to go for all the boxes. Reasons: 1)not restarting a level after death will let you get accustomed to the traps and layout of the level. Even if you played it many many times most often you will forget a single monster or a jump so by not restarting the level. Your memory of the level will be recent and u are less likely to forget something especially at the very end of the level. 2) if you concern your self for not dying you are most likely to do i know from experience. The anxiety of not getting hit will also get you hit. So by not concerning your self by the death count you are more likely to not get stressed. So by focusing on the boxes you are most likely to get all of the boxes. After taking note of how many times you died, where and why your death count surely will get lower until eventually no deaths. Share this if you found it hopeful

I always got killed by the anchors at the end when you must go through like 3 anchors in a row while also using Lani Loli. Also the other section that always kills me is when they put 3 pirates on barrel at the end of jetboard section. This is the hardest I ever got without dying while also breaking all the crates.

@@meraclechamlotte9291 it is difficult but it is doable. Just remember don't be nervous while playing and you will get it. P.s: platinuim relic is a nightmare i got it today after 3 days of trying. But still it is very easy if you know how to control your emotions.

They made the beating the game pretty damn easy so newer/younger players wouldnt be turned off. But they made getting perfect runs/all the gems difficult. I think it was the best way to approach it

Funny story, in one of my runs I almost got perfect but at the very end Coco didn't jump of the board right, fell into the water and died... I quit the game for the rest of the day after that, and decided from then on that getting 100% in this game was just not worth it, it actively ruins an otherwise amazing experience.

Hey I may need a tad bit of help. When I get to the last jet board part I have the perfect amount that is needed, but by the time I get onto the last pier right before the boss I’m always missing one or three? I have tried this twice and have always been missing one although I had the right amount before hand.

When you get right to the boss part with 2 masks and you stand where the tentacle comes up, get hit by the rats and then drive into the monster...

Is is because you play it on "normal" and not on "retro" when you get 2 aku masks at the end? I am playing on "retro" and I figured out that they stole me 1 aku mask after checkpoint... I check it twice ... I got 2 masks before last jet ski ...after hiting checkpoint they stole 1mask...same model before hiting last checkpoint before Louise...

You're either missing the hidden gem or a gem that requires you to have up to 3 deaths

You have to earn all the boxes and not die at all in one run to get the perfect relic. You don't have to get the wumpa gem or the hidden one.

So I was on jettboard jetty and the second part where you get on the jettboard for some reason nothing was in the water and this was late night but for some reason I really didn’t think anything of it until I went further in about to cross the first part and something from under the water grabbed me and after I spawned the level returned to its normal state with the bombs and the boxes, has this happened to you too ?
