One of my all-time favourite dishes…I’m such a casserole girl. But I know this dish as Makaronia tou fournou, when I lived in Cyprus : )

It looks very nice. I will have to try this recipe. I use my grandmother receipe and make mine the same way. The only difference, I don't use any tomatoes, I cook bottom layer with mince meat, lots of fried onions and spiced with lots of mint and also a little cinnamon. And the upper layer is macaroni with the bechemelle sauce and helloumi. Very good video. Well done 👍

I have to say this pastichio recipe is to die for !!! I cooked it for my party yesterday and peoplejust couldn't stop eating it. The delicately spiced pasta layer is such a good idea !!! The whole dish is totally addictive :) Thank you for sharing this great recipe :)
