Thing is with transcribing audio you can spend over 20 to 30m transcribing, making sure it is using the rule set by REV, correcting any spelling mistakes, double checking to make sure everything is properly done, etc. All of this can turn a 4m audio into a 2h workload for less than 1 dollar of pay.

Just an fyi to everyone who may not know this, something that I haven’t heard in any of these videos.. people who work from home and don’t “clock in and out of work” still have to pay taxes, so remember to make a note of everything you’re making if the income you’re making isn’t after tax. PayPal commission, Amazon mturk, all of that. You still have to report pretax income when tax season comes. I’m not saying “don’t try these jobs”, I’m just saying be responsible and organized. The only thing “easy” in this life is going to heaven, and all that requires is accepting Jesus Christ into your heart and believing Him as your Lord and Savior. Don’t you forget it.

Also I would request you to check the websites first as most of your audience is based outside the USA and a lot of us are located in India. So it would be really helpful if you could make a video on companies providing work from options be it transcribing or any other non-technical work for people based in India or other Asian countries. This makes for a nice promo video boosting your stats, but I’ve worked this while in college- transcribed for a teacher lectures , video recordings, audio recordings. It helped her with tracking students progress and grade faster. That was over 12 years ago. I was paid $17/ hr back then. This is not an easy job. It actually is very tiring due to the attention to detail needed constantly while transcribing.
