I've been trying to find card ideas without pagan symbols on them and your red stencil card is just perfect! TFS!
@ardyth3 жыл бұрын
I'm interested in what you're saying about pagan symbols. I've googled and I assume you are talking about the trees. I guess I knew the origins, but I certainly do not consider myself to be a pagan! lol! Glad you found something that you are comfortable using! Thanks so much for watching!
@ArtyAntics3 жыл бұрын
@@ardyth trees were where I started my research, but actually all of the Christmas decorations we use have pagan origins. For example the ornaments or baubles represent the fruits of the tree of life, Holly represents fertility as does mistletoe etc. I pretty much only use stars and snowflakes on my cards now. Tbh Santa is at least not pagan but I still can’t get on board with lying to children about where presents come from. I grew up around rich and poor children, the poor kids always thought they were on the naughty list or not good enough to get the cool gifts the rich kids had. So in kindness I told them the truth. I hate that society encourages people to lie to kids.
