Hey Paige! I really enjoyed this interview! I just bought your Square Secrets and SS Business courses (like 2 days ago!) and am planning to offer web design for the niche where I have my main business (wellness practitioners and spiritual businesses). I loved putting my SS website together last year and know many people in my niche are not tech savvy and have websites that are quite poorly done and it's hurting their business and I'd love to help them! Plus I figure it will be some extra income! I'm a *little* concerned that my niche is mostly small business owners who do not make much revenue (reiki practitioners, tarot readers, etc) and that might put a cap on what I can earn. It will probably be ok since this will just be extra income. It's nice that it's the sort of job that you can a full time living from or just as a side hustle! Either way, I'm excited to dig in and learn all I can! 🤗💕

Heeey! Awweee thanks so much for takin' the time to say that, I so appreciate it! And excited for you! It's totes true that some niches naturally "pay better" than others, but having said that, there is definitely a range of different people with different budgets in each niche - so you can choose to target those that can pay more (Emily's advice on how you talk about your services, the language you use, the process you create for your clients and how elevated your own brand & site are all help here!) Oh... and of course, you can also offer a more paired down service - design day, or smaller website at a lower price point if you're targeting lower budget clients (that way - you can work with more clients and have a good income overall!) Fabulous question - I have students alll over the world, so definitely yes! Also, the beauty of web design is that you can choose your target country (and it doesn't necessarily need to be where you live as you're workin' online!!)
