@@VindyDays Sir, flute makers cut the blowing hole at specific angles to create jawari (resonance) sound...

@DevendraKumar-xf9dx thanks for clarifying. Resonance definitely is important to get the full volume. Otherwise the flute could be to standard scale, but the volume can be very low. I have done some experimentation on the edge of the blowing hole. Will work on it more.

What will be the effect on tonal quality of the flute if you increase the inner diameter from 22.5mm to say 30mm. Will it produce base quality?

Thanks for your appreciation. At 9:57 we are talking about all holes closed, including “the right pinky R4” hole. That would not be Pa, but it would be Ma. Given that, that flute is made to A, per Hindusthani convention or C per Carnatic convention.

That’s good to know. PVC is certainly good for experimentation. But the tone of PVC is not as good as CFRP or Bamboo. Is that your experience too ?
