I love the sales and using a professional color palette. I am also color coordinated challenged! I will be doing this for my projects.

If you can't see the mistake from a galloping horse, it does not exist. Plus it'll be on a barn/house and no one will get close enough to see any bleed over. Good job on your design.

Thanks! You are right about the mistakes not being too noticeable once hung on the barn. That’s good to know, otherwise the quest for perfection would drive me crazy!

What size is your boards before u glue them ? And where can u purchase this size wood?

Since you are putting this outside, you should have used Titebond III wood glue as it is designed for outdoor projects :)

Thanks for the tip! So far, this elmers glue has worked well. Perhaps the layers of poly will help the glue hold up, too? I suppose we'll see but I will find some Titebond for the next one I do.

The streak is bleed through, u can spray shellac on it and let it dry and then paint again

Thanks for the tip! I also find that you can be a less concerned about imperfections when you hang your quilts 20 feet in the air. :)

Titebond Outdoor Glue is much better, than Emers
@smilingbutterflygardenfarm4627 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip. I have heard from others that Titebond would have been a better choice. The good news is that the quilts are holding up great so far. I'll post about it if the glue starts to fail.
