I really enjoyed this video especially the way she chats to herself and then speeds up the speech.....it is so natural...also the way she shows you how to correct any mistakes and still make it look gorgeous....Where I live i the UK pretty napkins are almost impossible to get and to buy online makes them unbelievably expensive.....I usually have to print my own from my photographs but that limits me a lot....anyway .... carry on with the good work.

Love this card - I would just make one comment that I think could be easier I would adhesive spray the card base - spread the napkin out nice and flat on my surface and then lay the card base on the napkin, you will be able to place it on the napkin with a little more precision. You can see through the napkin so you know exactly where you are placing the card base, and it makes trimming the napkin a lot easier too as you are not trying to cut "sticky".

great job! i use those same napkins. i got them on amazon. they are made well, and they look great on glass, card stock, etc.. i put them on wood, too! ive made cutting boards w them, using the dec mod podge, and i also tried them with the dishwasher safe mod podge, and it dries a little clearer, and as they dry they get nice tiny wrinkles in them, which gives it a bit of a shabby sheek look, my husband is fond of that look.

What an absolutely gorgeous napkin and card (love butterflies and the 'vintage' look, with glittery effects, and you showed a very handy technique with the mod podge, amongst many other techniques I've seen. Overall, a great, informative and entertaining tutorial, I found the fast-forward talking was sooooo cute and hilarious, couldn't keep the smile off my face!!! :D .... the step by step process was very useful - for example, never having used spray adhesive, was really handy to see in operation .... and I often tend to learn more when I see mistakes made (and how they can be fixed/modified etc) - because it IS reality and this is how we learn, and now we can learn from you (as well as our own mistakes and not feel discouraged). Thank you, feeling inspired! :)

The card is beautiful. Really enjoyed the sped up part. Got everything but fun. I do mine with mode podge on the base then lay the napkin on top. Or if you want to use your spray, I'd spray the base layer instead of the flimsy napkin. How that helps.

Oh No! Don't waste alcohol... I love my Pink Gin FAR TOO MUCH, haha! I know, I know, it's a different kind of alcohol; I haven't had that much to drink... yet! Seriously though, this is my best tip or trick by far - use neat Acetone! Yes, REALLY, it removes a multitude of things, especially in and around your craft area for things like adhesive, sticky label residue, glue & double-sided foam off your "gooed-up" favorite pair of scissors; it makes light work too of removing your kids best creative work with wax crayons and even indelible marker from tiles! And, if used carefully, it will remove marks & scuffs from Gloss Paint surfaces too, but don't rub too hard! It even removes stubborn, sun-baked, dried-on, bird poop from your windows! I use it for a multitude of things, even removing nail polish from my natural nails - it's far more economical as less is required than ordinary Polish Remover. I purchase a large bottle of neat Acetone for £1 for local Pharmacist or Supermarket. Primarily, it's used for removing acrylic/false nails, but I find it works quicker & better on my natural nails - it's far more cost-effective than Non-Acetone Nail Polish Remover! which is used in Nail Varnish Remover. I find it more readily available in any Pharmacist or Supermarket and it's really cheap too. I use it to clean loads of things, but be careful not to use on painted or lacquered surfaces or you'll end up redecorating!

I find if you lightly dampen you thumb and forefinger, and grab the napkin then open your thumb and finger the napkin layers will come apart enough to start the separation of the layers.

2019 Sept- great video- mistakes happen to everyone &I’m glad you showed them. Thanks for sharing the adhesive way of putting napkins on, I use wrapping paper & tissue paper wherever you can find nice designs without paying so much for napkins. Tuesday Morn & party stores seem to carry napkins that are worth it.....in Colorado you need to wait until the holiday is near , otherwise you can’t find anything real nice.......same with Michaels, Hobby Lobby & Maybe Hallmark has something. Can see napkins closeup when you order online & the shipping is more than the product....

Suppose that you were sitting down at this table. The napkins are in front of you, which napkin would you take? The one on your ‘left’? Or the one on your ‘right’? The one on your left side? Or the one on your right side? Usually you would take the one on your left side. That is ‘correct’ too. But in a larger sense on society, that is wrong. Perhaps I could even substitute ‘society’ with the ‘Universe’. The correct answer is that ‘It is determined by the one who takes his or her own napkin first.’ …Yes? If the first one takes the napkin to their right, then there’s no choice but for others to also take the ‘right’ napkin. The same goes for the left. Everyone else will take the napkin to their left, because they have no other option. This is ‘society’… Who are the ones that determine the price of land first? There must have been someone who determined the value of money, first. The size of the rails on a train track? The magnitude of electricity? Laws and Regulations? Who was the first to determine these things? Did we all do it, because this is a Republic? Or was it Arbitrary? NO! The one who took the napkin first determined all of these things! The rules of this world are determined by that same principle of ‘right or left?’! In a Society like this table, a state of equilibrium, once one makes the first move, everyone must follow! In every era, this World has been operating by this napkin principle. And the one who ‘takes the napkin first’ must be someone who is respected by all. It’s not that anyone can fulfill this role… Those that are despotic or unworthy will be scorned. And those are the ‘losers’. In the case of this table, the ‘eldest’ or the ‘Master of the party’ will take the napkin first… Because everyone ‘respects’ those individuals.
