G.H ! yes! you can use fabric too. I recommend using a nylon fabric so it won't fray when you cut it, and attach it to ribbon with double sided heat and bond.

For some reason, I am just now seeing this comment. I ordered the matte for the Rage bow, and it turned out to look sort of like a pleather. Kind of fun!
