Whenever i try to open an osu!mania map (that has already an osu version) it just opens the osu mode, and i don't find the way to change it. Is there a way to get it?

It didn't work for me it came up with an error and said that osu couldnt write the map, then cleared all the notes

Sounds like an error with your beatmaps folder, all I can suggest is trying again.

When in the editor, go File->Export Package and send that to them. Or File->Open song folder and send them just the practice map you made, if they already have the map.
