These videos are all about the casual conversation. Getting hard to find a good video that isn't full of anger or panic. Talking about polishing boots, not sure if it was an Air Force thing, but in basic we used to spend hours with a T-Shirt pressed into a notebook, using tweezers to make all the folds line up perfectly flat and even. Always inspection ready!

Hahaha soak uniform with stay flo and dry them. Then use spray starch to iron them. By the time I was done they were bullet proof. Drinking beer and getting uniform ready for the next day was some of the best times.

Man, at 19 mins in, you described my typical Sunday as a you Soldier. My buddies and I would throw on a movie, recover from the weekend, and shine boots. Using a bottle of stayflow every Sunday night, soaking BDUs, letting them dry, and iron the crap out of them. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Nice pouch for sure! Gotta make one with the beads! You know, I’ve often wondered how the mountain men dealt with months of wet weather and kept their possibles ( especially tender, powder, blankets, etc.) dry. My tender bag (same design) s cool, but it certainly wouldn’t keep tender dry. Do you think they just made sure everything was inside waterproof canvas or did they have a way to close off that opening at top of oiled pouch.
