As always, a very cool project. This is super useful. I just want to say, that although I am a "Christian" (unconventional at any rate as much of what is in modern churches i do not agree with) don't hold that comment that is irrelevant to your video against the rest of us (although you don't seem to be the kind😉)👍😉blessings.

I always appreciate your comments and feedback! You are right... I am not the kind to be bothered or hold comments of one person against others. Also, YT is an arena where some people spam a message anywhere they can in hopes of getting some traction or reaction. Either way, it doesn't bother me. There are so many things going on in this world that are worth focusing on which can also be the reason some use the "anonymity" of social media as an outlet. Besides, we should turn the other cheek, right?

Question: Is the white waterproof contact paper NOT dry erase-able? I only ask as you mentioned you stuck Peel and Stick Waterproof kitchen shelve liner to it as well.

Great question! Those are "magnet pens" that I made in a previous video and you are right... there is no visible magnet.

Thanks for an awesome video. I’m trying to make something similar but have the metal sheet be the magnet. Do you know if it can be done? Can I diy magnetic sheet? The dollar stores and craft stores sell magnetic sheets A4 size, but they aren’t very strong. I need it to be able to hold thin steel cutting dies. New sub from Australia ❤️🇦🇺

Thank you very much. I have wanted to do something very similar but you are right, most of the larger types of magnet material just are not really strong enough. I thought about using allot of button cell size neodymium magnets under the sheet metal to create a pass-through type of magnetic surface. I'm just not sure what the best solution would be. I’ve learnt how to magnetise steel by watching some KZbin videos, so I’m going to try & magnetise an oven tray tomorrow & and see how it goes. Have a great weekend and thanks for replying ❤️🇦🇺

I look forward to hearing how it works out for you. I had looked into doing something like that before but was a bit discouraged because I had read that magnetizing steel is normally difficult because it has very low magnetic permeability. I will do some research on how that might be overcome because obviously there are ways to make this work... but the trick will be getting a strong enough magnetic effect.

Another thought; the type of magnetic sheets that are used to create the marketing signs that can be temporarily placed on cars. Since those do not move even under high speeds I'd think they are much better than the sheets we'd seen before.
