The Old Fashioned Valentine prints bring back Memories of my mother, too. I guess our favorite memories of Valentine's Day go back to receiving and giving valentines in in our little grade school. I was so disappointed when they discontinued Valentine Parties for my Children in elementary school. I'll always remember sharing those small valentines with my friends in our little Country, one room School. THANK-YOU for the Memories.

I like the pattern, we have Valentins Day here in Germany, too, but not that long years lasting tradition like you have. I have never seen pictures like the ones on the panels before, they are so cute. For me the quilt is a bit to busy, I think I would add not different fabrics to the panels, I would sew background stripes around them to make it a bit more quiet. Hope what I wrote make sence 🤔 many greetings 😃

Hi there Jenny, these are like the style of the scraps that i have in my scrap album that i used to collect. I also have my mum's scrap album that was made out of my Papa Kikke's Fire Masters log book. He was in command of a Fire Station in the Clydebank are of Glasgow and worked throughout the 2nd World War and because of a blast out of windows in which shards went into his eyes and he had to wear glasses, he lost his command and his job. Mum's scraps were in here and this is very much the style, as well as the little cherub angels leaning on a cloud with their arms. Question people:- if given the choice now of getting given one of these beautiful cards (i'm not biased, i'm not) or one of the modern day Valentines, which would you truly love to get? Thank you Jenny for bringing such a beautiful material to our eyes, it is stunning and thank you Susan and her husband for keeping a hold of these very special keep sakes. Thank you Granny Nellie for holding on to your precious, beautiful cards and passing them down.
