They have lids with built-in stirring mechanisms, that make that much easier.

The problem with this is an issue of mold. It's the same problem as you get double or triple dipping the knife into the PB (or jelly, same issue)... each time you smear the PB on to the bread tiny crumbs of bread stick to the knife. When you stick that back into the jar they get deposited into your PB (or jelly). Given time those tiny bread crumbs mold and ruin your PB or jelly. Never double dip a knife.
