Very nice, may I suggest you get an old pair of snow skis make a little platform on top which will secure the skis together and a set of rails on with a stop and you’ll save yourself a good carrier for the winter. Greetings from Maine.

Hi Dan. I watched this video second so now I can see what you’re dealing with and why you changed things. I’m sorry for your medical issues - my wife is going through the same and she’s in her mid 70’s. I am enjoying the carpenter aspect of your videos. It’s crazy - you were one of the very best paramedics/fire fighters that I’ve met when we worked together. Stay healthy! Say ‘Hi’ to Debrora!

Hey Jason, thanks for your kind words. yeah PMR is a bitch, I am currently 14 months into it, got some relief from the prednisone but it shut down my pancreas and gave me diabetes. So now the hope is that it will go into remission on its own eventually. Live with the pain for now. I have not worked as a paramedic for a number of months now but the service is trying to find me a position as a recruiter. I hope your wife is managing as well as can be expected, I know it is not fun. Thanks for watching my videos, they truly are a labor of love.

Dan, sorry to hear of your health troubles. There are some parts of getting older that aren’t much fun. I had prostate cancer surgery in the fall. That whole experience, and being slapped in the face with the reality that life as I’ve known it is not infinite, has made me realize there are things I better take time to enjoy. A new Granddaughter gets most of that effort in my case, and time in the shop. Your little device there works great! Looking forward to seeing that bar when you complete it!

Well thank you, I like impressing people, and yes it actually works well. thought of putting in a second arm but the balance with one is pretty good.

what were the measurements on this?
@TherapyWoodWorks Жыл бұрын
The total length of the lifter leg is 31 inches, my table height is 34 inches. If you are going to lift a 48 inch piece of plywood remember you have to keep the leg at least over 24 inches to maintain balance. Thanks for your interest.

Rheumatoid arthritis since 18. What a horrible cut off to my spry years. But a last we adapt and overcome. Because we like what we like and want a hobby.
