Loved this brush. One thing that happened to me is that I had to rotate my rectangle and make it vertical in order for the stitches to move correctly around a curve. Otherwise, when I went from horizontal to vertical my block just would curve correctly. Procreate is so crazy sometimes, but I love it! Thanks for sharing your video!

Perfect timing. Was wondering how to go about that. Have you done a zigzag stitch before? Thank you so much

What worked for me, for that weird first stitch line, was to go to Shape>Shape Behavior>Count> and set it to 1. I also have Stabilization and Motion Filtering Amount set to 50. If you turn the Apple Pencil>Pressure>Opacity to 0, you won’t get a lighter first stitch. The only time it still gets a little funky is if you start your stroke with HAM pressure. Hope this helps! ✌️😁

Yes, thank you so much for the tip! That did it. My shape/shape behavior count was at 1. Changing the Stabilization worked wonders! I’m going to be redoing all my Procreate videos to go with newer updates and newer iPads. And put that little tidbit in and mention you, again thank you!🥰

Great tutorial. I think I may have figured out how to get rid of that random first line. In the shape behaviour, I turned the count up to 16 and that seemed to do the trick. Hope this helps everyone else 👍🏾

Man, I just tried all that it didn't work for me. When I use the brush, I just hold it and it straightens out. I literally was STILL trying to figure it out! 😩 I'm glad that worked for you! Keep up the good work! Happy drawing!!! 🥰🥰🥰

@@MartianCreations I just found the solution. In the shape behaviour, you need to drag the rotation meter at full until the 99% turn to "Follow Stroke".

How or where do you get your rectangle? Kinda new here
@MartianCreations9 ай бұрын
there is a link the appears at the top right of the video, its marked with a little " i ". And there is a link in the description box below the video. Those are the links to my basic shape brushes/stamps OR you can just draw a rectangle, it doesn't have to be a perfect rectangle to make this stitch brush.

Yes, all you have to do is draw a rectangle. I did my own brush because I wanted the tutorial to be a fast one.

The vertical stitches are stacked horizontally. They look more like bricks instead of stitches. However drawing left to right is perfect. Do you have any idea what I could have missed?
