@@rustydogandco Could've routed it out with a straight bit ,glued in a piece and re done it I suppose but i'd of left it in too. thanks for sharing.

Simple, effective, I like it. Curious though: what's the risk of kickbacks? Or is that why you have to have the fence at the distance from the saw as the width of the jig?

As far as I’m aware it’s low risk of kickback because you are only cutting the material that’s hanging over the edge of the jig. That’s why it’s important to set your fence the same width as the jig itself.
