Poor mans kydex ! I did this for my martindale golok, i found a bit of black downpipe in a skip. You dont need a heat gun, you can use the oven, plenty of room from the element.

You could also use strips of plastic bottle cut into strips like birch bark and weave

Using PVC is an excellent option for making a knife sheath. And you don't have to finish it. Looks great!!

Excellent video. I bought a BPS Finn Lite just before you. It's a great little knife. Puukko design with full tang, scandi grind, and sharp spine. What more could you ask for in a knife you can slip in your pocket as an EDC.

I guess that as you said it may wear loose over time, all you'd need to do is re-heat the PVC and clamp it again. Good idea 👍

That makes a really nice job mate, well done. I don't think I've ever seen Brown PVC here, I'm wondering if the white stuff would take a coat of paint. I'll give it a try with my Mora

I think a good idea for a video is a tutorial for a paracord weaved sheath or belt.

Im likeing this not sure of the pvc though is it just the stuff for water pipeing? Id really like to come up with a good secure sheath for the finn as i yend to carry it on my weekend warrior jaunts over most of my other blades ,that sheath would be real fine if it had a ferro rod loop of some sort imo .
