Guys I made it. 11/10. It works perfectly I have 0 experience in slingshots, I got interested in it some days ago , and I had a modern slingshot, and an old Balearic slingshot my uncle had made for me. It was very badly made, and the stone would sometimes just fly vertically and land on me , or not even leave the sling. Now I built this , and you can literally feel how powerful it is. With 30% of my power , it went so far I couldn't hear it land. All I need to do is train my aim.

Desert training '73 finally received class B rations. Bout 12 buzzards were just out of rock throwing range & waiting for us to move out so they could cleanup unwanted pork slices etc.. So i decided to whittle up a sling pouch from the inner flap of my ruck & 550 it into a proper sling. Seems the baseball players among us were just barely reaching them with rocks... so i snatched up the roundest of those flat 1/4 pound rocks & let it fly. The sound of it sounded like a covey of quail bustin out from beneath my feet. It appeared to spiral a bit during flight & made it to the gaggle's midst. Bastard the rock came nearest to just jumped aside & never flew! After rocking up at them several times, it was time to move out. Tickled me when my Lt. popped off with the remark... You sure proved your nickname on that one Sgt.! i jested to him, if there had been a frag in the pouch... would you have pulled the pin for me? -Former 82nd Abn. Recondo Sgt. Rock" 1/504 Inf. 51817

I never go out in the forest without a sling. It's so light that you don't know you have it, and it's a powerful weapon with an unlimited supply of ammo. I've been slinging for 23 years and never tire of it. Nice video. That design is great and can turn a survival bracelet into a weapon. I have done that with only a 3 cord cradle but I like how you're putting more cords in the cradle even better! Subbing you.

Amazing 🤩 I’ve got two different makes of paracord. The first time I purchased some was when I had no clue about it and got some cheap Chinese knock off brand which actually is t to bad for certain tasks but I did more research and got myself some tough grid American paracord which is simply top notch quality.

@lobomalsano3 жыл бұрын
Squirrel? i dont think so. This is more to scare a wolf or other predators off your property
@TwiWriteFlare3 жыл бұрын
That depends, how quickly do you think you could get to over 200,000 throws worth of practice? I'm not sure even that would be enough for consistent reliability, but this is the sort of tool that you generally need to be using your entire life to master fully. That is the primary reason they became obsolete in the first place; few people put in the time it takes to get truly good with them these days. They are awesome tools, but crazy difficult to master. True masters can absolutely hit a bird in flight consistently with one though so I'm sure pegging a squirrel is a level of mastery that comes well before that.
