How To Make A Simple Flat Foam Popper Head - Bass Fly Tying

This video will give brief, step by step instructions on how to construct a simple foam popper head. Poppers are great for bass and this flat-faced popper head makes noise. Nice! With the flat face like this one, you can size it to most streamer hooks but a wide gap streamer hook is best. I still tie small poppers on hooks I use for woolly buggers in sz. 4 because all the foam is on the top of the hook shank not taking away hook gap. Lots of ways to utilize this method! Hope that helped!
