The module that you made in the 3D printer needs 10 small holes added to your later versions... the holes will allow you to stitch leather to either side and add a small strap buckle. This will allow you to avoid having to use a stabilizing hand in future versions.
@Dashpoint_M Жыл бұрын
That's a good idea. originally, as a nerdy kid trying to make real webshooters, I was going to have a hard shell 3d printed where you basically just clip the web shooters on around your wrists. I think the strap might work better

Have you looked into the chemical aspect of it? Theoretically you could combine the right carbon nanotube for strength and lightweight with the right polymer to increase elasticity. then just find a way to make cartridges that hold the materials and combine them in a spinning or layering mechanism to shoot it out in a semi solid material. I would be trying to find a solution like this myself but A, I'm 15 so I don't have access to this stuff and B, I'm 15 and I am not a professional in chemistry, I'm just a nerdy kid But idk, just a thought

I'm trying to go as spider man for Halloween and wanted a bit more authenticity to the costume so I've been researching for a (semi)functional web shooter, Of all the ones I've seen though this definitely has a lot of promise and seems like the kind of thing that Peter Parker would have made in the early stages of being spider-man, I watched this and took down notes and i think that once i build one of these for myself people will love it. Great video and i hope i can get the design to work like you did.

Ok well this is a long comment but here I go What you need to do is get this but with it leading to like fifty different hoses. After that all the hoses have to spin to tangle up with each other. I also feel that if you made the whole they come out of smaller it would work a lot better. Also the more hoses the better but this is only a theory of how to make real web shooters. Also there should be something to turn to switch between web line and web blast l. Web blast would have to be the whole opening wider than before and coming out more like a ball of glue than a string It should also have a third setting were you could shoot all of it at once as one really big web blast. P.S. I love your content never stop uploading

if you want real webs get an empty pressure tank. fill with 1 part silly string 1 part this lock tight stuff and 1 part JB weld. mix completely in the tank on a paint shaker for 24 hours. its very impotent when doing this to not allow or mix any air in the tank at all. once you've finished load cartridges the same way and you'll have the nearest thing to real webs . hope this helps it makes for a really good stable web but the process is very difficult... you can also add other compounds to the mix to make the webs less ridged like liquid rubber. giving it a more flexible web affect. i suggest using that as seen on TV flex-seal and i would think adding equal parts of all four compounds would give best results... it worked for me
