Build a simple and easy Tableau Dashboard in just 8 minutes. In this video, we will build a tableau dashboard from scratch using the sample data provided above. We will learn all the basic steps we need in order to create a dashboard in Tableau. First, we will connect and load our data from Excel to Tableau. Next, we will do the KPI using the built-in calculations in tableau like SUM and AVERAGE. We will also format our KPIs in decimal form, percentage, and standard. Third, we will create the Customers per Month Line Chart, Sales per Month Column Chart, and Orders per Product Bar Chart. We will also show how to sort chart from highest to lowest value and color code based on value. Finally, we will customize our dashboard to how we like it. The video shows the different ways on how to customize your dashboard.
