Absolutely, curly willow is a great accent, it has a natural look that adds the perfect touch. It does not work with all arrangement but it does go with tropicals.

Just a few tips: *cut the stems in an angle for easy arranging and so the flower soaks in water faster. *Please make sure to face all flowers to the front if it's a one sided arrangement. *Double check your full view, there's a huge gap on the left side between the orchids and bird of paradise. *Make sure it's completely hidden so nobody can see the floral tape. Always always soak the oasis before cutting and taping!

Thank you for those extra tips. I'm just getting interested in tropical floral arranging, and need all the help I can get... I made a disappointing arrangement for my Hawaii-loving mother's memorial service... I also noticed that those orchids are facing the wrong direction, with the underside on display. I love monsterra leaves.

If you were interviewing for a designer position in my shop, I would have asked you to leave after seeing your oasis/tape job. To wrap the tape around the entire container is ghastly.

I love of all the flower used willow is a good accent but there’s a lot to improve the placement over all the arrangement quite heavy to the eye

Wow. That's quite... a mess. You started off well with the birds of paradise, then when you added the pinapples at the side, I was like, NONONO. And then the 2 additional birds... gah. The orchids... GOODNESS! I think it's a good attempt but maybe some focus, composition, lines and shape lessons are called for at this point.

I am sorry, not trying to be rude, we need to take responsibility when we are trying to teach, buyer should not be able to see the green tape on the vase, second greens go first, and we should make sure greens are in good condition, we can clearly see the leaves have missing parts. But I love your idea, good luck 🌷

Why would you make a video if you don't know what you are doing ? You place one pineapple right in front of the other !! You seem to just make it up as you go along & it's not working out for you. Not very good use of placement of flowers. You need to study a little more about color & placement before making a vide.
