Just realized I never posted after watching this.. It's such a cool idea and I also learned a ton of little tricks in this tutorial, thank you!

Wave Step seq now. LOL. :) A kind person pointed me to your videos. I want to personally thank you for sharing these very creative ideas. I purchased a Key 61 a few days ago. If I hadn't, no doubt I would have liked the Force better. I had no idea it had the OLED Qlinks. :( You have me thinking that I might end up staying the MPC hardware world for a while. Having a MPC X SE, along with the Key 61, and now your insightful ideas? Endless, NONE DAW, monster synth! Impressive stuff.

This is killer. The Force is such a powerful tool.

Nice to see you're back Joe! This is the type of video we need more of. Dope way to flip 2 sounds you made from yourself. If you want it sound more nasty turn Wrap & mess wit the % & the BPM of the sample if you got BPM-Sync on.

Thanks @Poetic-Noise. You know, I think I've trained my fingers to stay clear of that Warp button. Never thought to use it to kind of mangle stuff on purpose. I'll check it out!

@joefilbrun Yeah, sometimes you gotta get you're Hip-Hop on & use stuff in cool ways it wasn't made to be used.

Very nice! I haven't tried this type of thing out and you have sparked my interest :D
@joefilbrun Жыл бұрын
You should give it a go. It's actually pretty fun to see what you can make of it. And as you probably noticed, the samples can be kind of dodgy and still give you a nice result. ;-)

ON MY AKAI FORCE I HAVE AD/DA CONVERTER BUS GOING IN CHANNEL,INPUT 1,2 AND ALL MY TRACKS GOING INPUT 1,2, GOING TO AUDIO TRACK ON INPUT 1,2, AND MY RETURN TRACK ON CHANNEL 3,4, BUT WHEN I EXPORT THE SONG ITS NOT BEING CONVERTED TO ANALOG LIKE WHEN I CONVERT IT IN ABLETON LIVE.

I really like your video’s. They show creative non-standard ways of using the device. I have a question: If you buy the device, which plugins are really offering a lot of functionality that could not be done without the plugin? I get the feeling that a lot of the synth instruments duplicate each other?

Got to see if still have the Sarah's ARR1 sample somewhere.
@joefilbrun Жыл бұрын
Hey @koraamis5568, definitely try it out. Good fun to be had here, and sometimes you'll surprise yourself with what you can make it into. Thanks for watching!

Hi, 😊 I’ve got a question about converting sf2 (soundFont) format from a computer to the Akai Force. Do you think I should sample each notes or 1/3 ?
@Drozas91 Жыл бұрын
Thats pretty cool, I wanna try this with "found sounds". Do you ever make drones with the force?
@joefilbrun Жыл бұрын
Hey @Drozas91. Yeah, found sounds would be great with this kind of technique. I do make drones with the Force sometime. Maybe I'll do a video on that. My favorite plugin to do it with is OPx-4 since there are so many ways to change the timbre with the various modulation sources. Thanks for watching!

@@joefilbrun Look forward to it or any other of your videos! Always insightful.
