I certainly am inspired by what you've done. I want to make a ww2 film of my own, but my location is limiting my options. I live in Philadelphia, but the film I want to make takes place in the Pacific theater of ww2, so aside from a nearby gorge with qualities of a pacific island, its not really feasible. I have everything else set up though such as scripts props etc. This video has definitely helped me in getting a feel for what I need to prepare to do as far as filming. Anyway, great video.

Amazing work! My only advice would be to maybe shoot your night scenes during blue hour but still have the Arri as strong harsh key light or edge. This will give you a similar look except you'll retain shadow detail along with retaining location details instead of everything falling to black. You could then always adjust it in post and darken everything.

Spot on guys !....also try and get Into DRAMA poss a workshop or experience with a grp! Other than reenactment ....airsoft is /will be useful (particularly if you don't have a great deal of TACTICAL know-how!! ) AND an airsoft area may allow some filming ! And GD LUCK
