good video. verywell explained. i've never done a collage style zine. gonna have to give it a go. something that's helpful for me is putting a layout on a transparency so i can overlay it as i work. i have a layout of all eight pages so i can see exactly where the folds and such will be and another with a black border around all but one spot so i can look at each in isolation. i don't do so well with envisioning how exactly it will look in the end. having the transparencies has been super helpful for me. hopefully ti helps someone else.

I had no idea what a zine was. Thank you. My mind is exploding with ideas. I'd print a double-sided borderless sheet as my base. I'd cut a slit with a ruler and blade instead of using scissors to cut off a sliver. The inside (not collaged areas) could be pockets. I'd try various paper sizes. I'd use cheesecloth and/or fabric bits. So many possibilities. Exchanging with others sounds fun too. Difficult to believe that you don't have an Ecotank printer. They save so much money. Mine paid for itself in one week.
