If you thicken that leftover juice with cornstarch or the leftover flour in a pan heated on the stove, you can use it as a filling for any leftover pie crust. Roll out the leftover pie crust, brush the filling on it, and then roll up the crust like cinnamon rolls. Slice into mini cinnamon rolls. Put rolls on a sheet of non-stick foil and bake for 10 minutes as the pie bakes in the oven. Brush with a little melted butter out of the oven and top with additional cinnamon and sugar as desired. I remember fondly these as a child as my mother baked often and then did this for my children as well when they were little. They loved to help me make them. Fun memories!

I have frozen many unbaked pies and baked them straight from the freezer. They turn out beautifully as if I had just made them. I always love watching your videos. Such a blessing to us homemakers.🌿

I put my faith and trust in Christ! My greatest happiness comes from following him our Lord and Savior. So I’m patiently waiting for his return! As a single mother things are difficult this thanksgiving. My husband passed years ago so I’m alone. I’m overwhelmed because both of my children are autistic. I’m struggling trying to support them and myself. I can’t afford Thanksgiving dinner this year. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. I’m so discouraged I feel so alone in this world. Every month is a battle, to not end up on the streets with my children. Thankfully God gives me strength to keep going. Please pray for me and my children this Thanksgiving thank you.

Child of God - your name says it all - never forget that. Know it breathe it. Hold fast to the word. Philippians 4:13 says we can do ALL things through JESUS who gives us strength. Philippians 4:19 says MY GOD SHALL - SUPPLY ALL MY NEEDS according to His riches in CHRIST JESUS. Study that. Think about it. Your not just going to have - you will have riches from Jesus! His riches which are better than anything. I pray you have a miraculous overflow. That your 2 children will be anointed & protected. That you will have great peace & know He is controlling this storm. In these heart wrenching trials know YOU WILL PREVAIL & Be MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! We serve a God who keeps His Holy eye on everything - even a Sparrow. You are more valuable. Romans 8:28. Be of good cheer. I wish I could give you a hug. Please let my words that are true be His hands & feet & lift you. I love to pray & will keep you in prayer - it’s an honor. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼

Thank you for posting because it has given me the privilege to pray for you. Psalm 37:25 is a promise for you! Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread. Stand with the Lord and look for his help in your difficult situation. And know I will be praying for you and your family.

Please check local churches. There are a few in our area that do free Thanksgiving dinners. You can call some and if they don’t, they quite possibly know who does.

After cooking for a family for almost 40 years I decided I needed a kitchen scale, omgosh game changer. They aren't expensive and hides right on top of the fridge. I reach for it constantly. With all the cooking and baking you do you might want to get one. 😀

Good morning, friend! I can't believe how much you get done with two small boys at home. The apple pie and scalloped potatoes looked delicious! Your vlogs have been so amazing with great ideas toward having a stress free Christmas. We love spending the holidays with our sons and their families. We all pitch in and potluck it so all the cooking doesn't fall on one person. I love my three grandchildren, our youngest being only three months old. Have a blessed day, dear Hilary, and thanks for sharing!🤎

You can put some rice or beans in those glass jars to help anchor those trees. That pie looked great! My husband has been asking for an apple pie for awhile now but I have always shied away from making one. It looked pretty simple so I guess I will give it a try and surprise him with it for Thanksgiving.

The Christmas trees look perfect in the containers. Here in L.A. we have voting boxes (they look like the outdoor P.O. mailboxes) where we can just drop our completed ballots in. They’re typically outside of libraries. So convenient to drop it in a week ahead even, or when I’m at the library. My mom used to let us make cinnamon sugar pie crust cookies with the leftover pie dough. I love them still!

Thanks Hillary I enjoyed todays video. I love my Mandolin from Pampered Chef! I had mine for 20 years of hard consistent use. I even had carrot stains! 🤣😂 the point of the V dipped down too. The blades stayed sharp. I bought a new one which is awesome with a stand & guard. I trust your recommendations. You give great pitches. Happy Birthday to Luke it seems like yesterday you were prepping his nursery. Have a great safe blessed week! Hugs 💕
