I love prepping our meals ahead. Just before the pandemic hit. I made 60 breakfast meals, 60 dinner meals, and already had 3 months of meals in the freezer. We were able to shop our freezer for prepared meals and other items for the first 6 months of the pandemic. Well done on prepping ahead and giving yourself the gift of time later!!!

Great job, Hillary! That certainly is a gift! If some felt they didn't have time to make that many meals in just a few days, they could take your concept and just spread it out a bit more by making a meal x3. Feed one of them to the family that day, then freeze the other two. Keep repeating until the freezer is full! Might I suggest an idea of having a checklist on your freezer door of what's inside and cross off the meals each time you've removed one from the freezer? This will help to see at a glance what you have without pulling out each dish to figure it out. Just a thought!

I always use the regular lasagna noodles, I never boil them prior to baking the lasagna and always turns out. I do use a bit more liquid to be sure it bakes up nicely.

You are such a blessing to your family! Your freezer meals look delicious. I like to put prepped food away in my freezer. Sometimes I cook and freeze as you did in the video. However...my usual way to prep food to freeze is to double each recipe as I make it for my family. We eat one and I freeze one. Then I always have something in my freezer ready to go for our family when we're busy or a meal to share with a friend in need. Thanks for the fresh freezer meal ideas!

I have been preparing meat ahead of time and freezing it which is a big time saver. I also flavor hamburger in meals like sloppy joes, taco meat and cabbage burgers. Your meals look terrific. Thanks for sharing.

For the burger bake, do you use a really lean meat? Worried it would be a pile of grease, but I love the idea!

I think I used 85/15? We use organic beef and I honestly haven’t noticed a lot of grease even with this ratio. If it’s a little runny after baking I just pour it out.
