Is this only a vst or can it be used as a plugin to use with others Vst’s?

But the melodies generated by this plugin are extreme weak , even my cat makes better melodies.

I don’t personally believe they are weak anymore. I used to when I first started using it until I understood some of the more “advanced” features like voicings, performance and such. For me, I like to use it as a way to find base chord progressions (since I’m terrible at that 😂) and then drag them into Ableton and build them out to something fuller or more advanced. I think it’s great to use as a starting point!

@@djcontour I think it would be smarter to spend time how to learn to write a chord with melodies. Maybe this plugin can make interesting chords but so could anyone when not lazy and trust more in self capability. I think this plugin is disappointing. I was hoping it would create impressive melodies with variations , but none of that, just a simple arpeggiator that you can find in any DAW. I would say it is a total waste of money and time with tons of useless patches going nowhere. Not worth the time. But that is just my opinion. I found it not impressive. If a musician can't learn to make any simple chords or anything , maybe it is time to find another job. This thing is maybe nice for total noobs, too lazy to learn how to put a chord. I gave it a chance to check it out. and I heard chords and chords. but zero melodies. just arps. complete crap just to delete. I create my arps elsewhere, don't need this thing to do it. you see my point ?

@klaurcschwackerberg1880 for your specific scenario, I do see your point. I do agree that it’s very important to know how to write chords on your own. I felt the same way when I bought it and hated it so I shelved it. Then I saw some videos and decided to actually learn how to use it. Now it’s one of my favorite tools. And I don’t use it on every track either. This also isn’t a melody plug-in. It’s a chord progression plug-in that aides in finding specific chords quickly. Then importing the midi into your session and continuing. The patches and built in synths are meaningless because you will almost always drop the midi on the synth of your choice. If you haven’t tried it, I would check the performance tab. This sounds like it’s more of what you’re looking for in the way of building top-lines and counter melodies. I would never buy a plug-in to generate memories because as you stated, it’s far more simple to do that yourself. I also won’t condemn this plug-in just because someone else doesn’t like it. I’m bummed that you don’t. But every producers situation and needs are subjective. For every one of you who hates it, there’s one of me who loves it. Plug-in boutiques channel has tons of really great content on the advanced features of this if you’re interested in putting a little more time into it. I’m extremely hopeful that you come to enjoy this tool as many other including myself have!

@@djcontour I would change my mind and maybe use it for fun or even seriously , when the installer would become a simple and nice 15 MB in stead of a whopping 1.5 GB full of useless data and sounds I am never planning to use. They should have made a version where you can choose to skip downloading their sounds. Like nobody has a piano sound or strings. What were they thinking ? To make the plugin look interesting for total noobs while forcing to download their 1.5 GB just for getting just a few chords. Ok lol maybe it's funny. But that is just my opinion.
