Headed to Lowe’s to get all the goods! I think I’ll put some silicone between all the 4x4s and put some holes in the top plate so I can bolt it down when I’m not on the move with my anvil! 🤘

That inspection looked pricey but worth it. Need to find me one of them. Definitely inspired to make one like this. Thanks.

Put some steel casters on the bottom. That way you don’t have to lift it all the time. Thats what i did with mine. I’m 71 and can’t lift that kind of weight anymore. Believe me you will thank me when you get older. Remember the old saying,”WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER!

Pretty smart idea and affordable. I was planning on cribbing something up but I didn't think about lag bolts. I was about to over engineer it lol

Bro you NEED to coat your fiber in the forge with cement. That stuff will kill you if you don't. Hopefully you did that after this video

Hey, just wondering if you ever have to deal with the stand walking on around your shop. I know that tends to be an issue with the lighter stands. Ps if you haven’t already you should coat your forge with rigidizer and refractory cement. It’s about 50$ and is a whole lot cheaper than a cancer treatment. Just looking out for you!

Hahah, thank you. They're a bit of a trademark of mine. I found them on the side of the road while I was working on a TV show and have kept them ever since.

I’m assuming the screws in the 4x4’s are 4.5”. Could you please tell us?

Now you can use your anvil to fashion a metal chop saw stand

Did you think about using threaded rod instead of all the screws? I may build one and try that. you could drill through the whole stack and use 4 rods to squeeze it all together.
@jbwolfhunter80312 жыл бұрын
good idea, but wouldnt it be less stable?

Do you have a 30" long 1/2" drill bit, and a drill to push it? That's likely the reason for the offsetting and individual screws.

Very nice, it would look cool with some hammers hanging on the side of it.

Great idea, I may just do that! Another thought I had was to sheath in the spaces in between the cribbing to create shelves. Thanks for watching, I hope you have a great day!
