Hi April! I haven't tested it, but I suspect it should work the same since WooCommerce products are a form of posts. However, if your products are digital and you want members to have access to them (and not just the ability to see them), you'd likely need something like WooCommerce Memberships by Skyverge.

Thanks so much for this video! Exactly what I was looking for : ) Quick question: am I able to collect my patreon's email addresses when using this plugin? I'm not sure, but I don't think creators get access to patreon's email addresses when setting up their account exclusively on the patreon website.. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Glad you like the video. As far as I can tell, you can only set access for patrons. Also given new European regulations (GDPR), the safest bet is to get explicit consent on email collection, esp. if you have or target people in the EU.

I have been using Wordpress for years. I do not have a Patreon account. Can I add the Wordpress Patreon plugin without using Patreon for posts? I would like to lock up one of my Wordpress pages for members only.

Hi @kaxar6954. In this case, there are much better options, like Restrict Content Pro or PaidMembershipsPro. These are native WordPress plugins that don’t rely on an external service like Patreon. There’s also Memberful, which has excellent WordPress integration.

I do not. Today I'd go with Memberful - better WordPress integration, owned by Patreon!
