I don't think drill drum fills contrast with drill countersnare pattern that much. They are both bouncy enough and sound to me more of a continuation of each other, so the song doesn't sound to me to be dropping thaaaat harder with them... Instead, boom bap drum fills make an obvious drum fill contrast to the basic drum pattern and stand out more. And this is why I prefer them over drill ones. But it is an alternative choice to using always risers and it can come in handy. Well done for your hard work to make that pack.
