Thanx so much for the look I have stabilizers ready to install but I think if I install where you did they would be in the way of paddling so I'm gonna go as far back in the kayak I canto install

I have outriggers on my big fish 120, and they make a big big difference in stability, i believe that outriggers will save your life in bad situations, but that's just my opinion

Hi I have inflatable outriggers but when assessing where to site these I can't help but hit the floats with my paddles, are these just for stationery fishing? I need for stability when kayaking on flat water as I have a moonster white water kayak so tips easy if I turn around etc.

I made mine the other day out of boat fenders and PVC pipe. Wish I would have done it years ago all the difference in the world.

They are made of a tough PVC material. And patches come with them. But no PVC glue with mine. I would just be careful with fishing hooks. Or you can make your own outriggers from hard PVC pipes.

Yakgear makes the hard plastic ones, which are about $50 cheaper than the Hobie ones in the video. Plus, they have camera mounts on each float.
