@@Mlixoified sure that was a mistake! I make mistakes every now and then. I still think gain and limiter help not all, but many microphones, get a professional feel. Having a too light/weak tone will not make it sound as appealing for most voices and microphones.

i recommend having ur limiter to 6.10 and ur gain to 6 and ur mic volume to 100% u wanna keep it at red so ur game audio doesnt make u sound low

Thanks for the tips! I just have one question though, when I added the Noise suppression filter, it says "WARNING: Please upgrade both NVIDIA Video & Audio SDK. Your current version of Audio SDK is outdated." on the bottom of "Method". I don't even have NVIDIA. 😭

That's very odd, I've never heard about that one before! Have you tried just deleting and adding the mic source again and see if it works? Maybe you need to update your graphics card drivers? It could of course be that your specs are too low, but it can also be a glitch. I hope your issue will be solved, and I will get back to you if I come up with more possible solutions. Why does the threshold for limiter and gain have to be the same?

Adding a gain might make the microphone sound too loud at times. This is where the limiter comes in, compressing the rough loud noises. They should be working at the same settings for it to be effective 😊

Then you would simply want to add even more gain to the microphone, and make sure you have the limiter -db same as the gain.

An echo is still an echo, but yes, it will most likely reduce it! You can try ‘noise gate’ instead if noise suppression doesn’t halo anything. Gate is removes much more background noise, but COULD interfere with your voice sound as well which isn’t great. Let me know if it works :>

@@Starix_Gaming Well its not cheap for sure but, its called the Fifine Usb microphone or smth. Its the one with the long stand - not a tripod

Try removing the compressor, it doesn’t work on all microphones. Let me know how it sounds!

I meant, all you need is the default settings for the compressor. Plus, every microphone and voice is different. There is no exact compressor setting combination that works for everyone. Thanks for watching! 💯
