Thanks for offering this free information. I'm very interested in becoming a virtual assistant. I live in Wisconsin and I'm 50 years old. My children are all grown so I no longer have that responsibility. Now I just get to enjoy my grandsons. I have always enjoyed learning everything I can about everything of interest to me, which is actually a very vast array of subjects. I went to college twice Once for Accounting/Bookkeeping and once for Business Administration. I have many years of experience in many areas. I've been a bartender, receptionist, Accounting Administrative Assistant, Director of Property and Procurement, Casualty Coordinator, and Community Planner. I've also worked with many government agencies in various sectors; Tribal, county, state, and federal. Most recently, U.S. Census Bureau. Since Covid I would rather do more from home. I have set up a couple of businesses (for others) in the past but not online. I appreciate any help with this that I can get. Thanks again.

State to state requirements are different. I suggest seeing where the closest SCORE office is to you. They are AWESOME with local requirements. Even if the closest SCORE business office is too far to visit in person, you can still call and get all the info for state / local requirements (permits, insurance requirements, etc)
