I will definitely be watching this. Love Tig. One of the funniest things I've ever seen in my entire life was her skit about learning to auctioneer.

*slight spoiler warning* but, my favorite part: "scootin down the hall and scootin down the hall scootin down the hall and scootin down the hall" had me rolling 😂 one of my new favorite stand up specials

I’ve never heard of her but she’s hilarious. At first I thought it was Judge Alex Manning from Georgia. They could pass as twins

I can't wait to see the whole thing!

Tig is one of the few lgbt comedians whose audiences actually laugh, instead of clapping like a ted talk. Hannah Gadsby comes to mind

Gadsby makes my stomach hurt from all the cringe I do while watching her/they/him shows.

some people are not funny. that applies to people of every demographic, including the lgbt. can you imagine if people said this about white men? just comparing every white man and measuring the worth of white males through that generalisation. yeah some gay people won't be funny to you, some gay people will make jokes that are unfunny to you. why do you have to make it about their gayness?

I think all of us can relate. Once I read something to effect of “fat Christian”. I reread when it didn’t make any sense with the rest of the narrative.

Comedy is definitely subjective

She said Maple leaf and americans we hear what we want to hear. Ha, ha. What was cool is you didn't describe the tree with the spicket to get fresh maple syrup.

My review: the writing was a bit lazy - she stretched some simple premises out way too long and included lots of filler (some might say, dead air), and relied too heavily on the name-dropping of her celebrity associates.

I’m a fan of hers and her slow speaking was killing me at first. Then I adjusted to it after a few mins. I think part of her shtick is the insane level of commitment to a joke, even if it’s bombing, because SHE thinks it’s funny, and that’s what matters the most to her. I appreciate this because I’m my best audience member. “I laughed 🤷🏻♀️”

@@Wildkrisberger i love how subjective appreciation of comedy (and all the performance arts) is. If we laugh, we laugh, and that's all that matters. 🙂
