Erica Evoy it's very possible. My grandmother gave birth 11 times and actually it would've been more but she lost 3 babies unfortunately... big families were a very common thing back then but they certainly aren't these days just depends on the person I suppose

Erica Evoy it's common to give birth to a lot of children back then because of the really high mortality rate. A lot of children die before they turn 5. If you passed the age of 5, you'll die at age 20 and if you die at age 20, you'll die at age either 50 or 60 so it's good for them to give birth to a lot of children because some of them could live longer

Will Huey I don't feel sorry for someone who refuses to acknowledge that death is inevitable and that committing despicable acts of violence and cannibalism is unacceptable because you cannot favour your son's life over theirs in such a way. Nikita EVERYONE'S children die. We take that on when we have them. Seems to be missing from Leonarda's logic though her losses were tragic, no doubt. But even in a perfect life, death is the final result. Better to be adults about it and love them while they are here.
